This desk/table from the Fredericia's king range was designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen. The mahogany table has a wooden front panel that protects the legs.
Thygesen and Sørensen created the king range of chairs and tables in 1969. The materials were dominated by rattan and wood species. When king frederik IX of denmark celebrated his 70th birthday in 1969, he received some of the furniture from the king series as a gift - hence the name of the range).
