12. ACCA AU-58, 1792 Great Britain 1/2 Penny Token(代用幣), Pro Bono Publico
戈黛娃夫人(約1020－1067）是一位盎格魯-薩克遜貴族婦女，依據傳說，她為了爭取減免丈夫強加於市民們的重稅，裸體在科芬特里的大街騎馬。當時利奧夫里克對科芬特里市民們強加重稅，戈黛娃夫人向丈夫求情希望減免稅收，但都被丈夫拒絕。利奧夫里克對妻子的求情感到厭煩，宣稱只要她能裸體騎馬繞行市內街道，他就減稅。心地善良的戈黛娃夫人真的做了，要所有市民待在屋內並緊閉門窗，她一絲不掛、披著一頭長髮騎馬遊街。但有一名好色的裁縫師Tom，禁不起誘惑，在窗上鑿了一個小洞想偷看，他的雙眼就失明了，這個人後來成了英語「偷窺狂」（Peeping Tom）一詞的由來。最後戈黛娃的丈夫遵守諾言，免除了繁重的稅賦。

12. ACCA AU-58, 1792 Great Britain 1/2 Penny Token, Pro Bono Publico
Madame Godeva (c. 1020-1067) was an Anglo-Saxon aristocrat who, according to legend, rode naked on horseback in the streets of Coventrie in order to obtain relief from the heavy taxes imposed by her husband on the townspeople. At that time, Leofrick imposed a heavy tax on the citizens of Coventrie, and Mrs. Godeva interceded with her husband for a tax reduction, but he refused. Leofrick was fed up with his wife's pleas and declared that he would cut taxes as long as she could ride naked through the city's streets. The kind-hearted Madame Godeva really did it, telling all the citizens to stay in the house and keep the doors and windows closed, and she rode through the streets naked and with long hair draped. But there was a lustful tailor, Tom, who couldn't resist the temptation, cut a small hole in the window to peek, and he lost his sight, and this man later became the origin of the English word "Peeping Tom". In the end, Godeva's husband kept his promise and was exempt from the onerous taxes.
