3 vintage cookbooks by the legendary Belgian chef Philippe Édouard Cauderlier

1) La patisserie et les confitures: contenant les pâtisseries nouvelles faites avec la Mondamine. Probably published around 1905. Signed by the author.

Due to its age the book has wear and tear. Especially the book covers, corners and sides of the book have some damage. On the first page the name "Mme Hansenne" is written in pencil. The pages have foxing and a limited amount of pages have some stains. Most pages are in good condition for their age. Check the photos for the condition of the book.

2) L'economie culinaire. 9th edition published in 1901.

The book is almost 125 years old. As a result the bookcovers, spine and corners have wear, tear and some damage. The first pages are torn on the top of the pages (see photos) and 200 is written and underlined in pencil on the first page. First four pages of the Avant-propos became detached. Pages have foxing and some stains, but are in good/very good condition for their age. See the photos for the condition of the book.

3) Le livre de la fine et de la grosse charcuterie. This paperback edition was probably published in 1925.

Book cover have foxing, wear and tear and some creases. On the cover 15 is written in red pencil. The back of the book has foxing, some stains and a creases (especially bottom right). The spine has creases and the binding is deteriorating especially at the bottom side. Pages have some foxing, but are generally clean and in very good condition for being printed 100 year ago.
