The HANAU S100 light therapy industrial design lamp made in the 1930s has been preserved in its original condition. The jade green painted steel body has survived the last 90 years with almost no scratches.
The circular plinth is made of backelite and holds the oversized globe fixture steady, which opens up to reveal the lamp itself and the mirror.
The cable is also original, it can be hidden in the lower part of the sphere.
The product markings and the manufacturer can also be read on the product.
Manufactured and stamped "Klein Hohensonne S100 Original Hanau" confirming it's the Klein Höhensonne model S100" original Hanau.
