A peppy, aromatic collaboration of Saburomaru malt and home-aged grains.
The majority of the Saburomaru malt, distilled in 2019, is made primarily from Mizunara, bourbon, and sherry barrels from Toga, Toyama Prefecture, bringing out a wide variety of aromas and peaty, sweet, and oakiness derived from Mizunara.
The blended 12+ year old grain is aged in roasted casks produced in Iba and wine casks from Nagano Prefecture, and the multi-layered flavors combine to support each other as a whole.
