Martinus Cornelis Bichon van IJsselmonde (1781 –1845), Carel Marius Storm van 's Gravesande (1809-1880), Lodewijk C. R. C. van Cattenburch (1771 -1842) and the Prefect of the french Department of Roers - Fragment of 3 autograph letters signed of the mayors of Rotterdam and Gravenhagen and french prefectt - dated 1813, the others about 1840.

1.) Martinus Cornelis Bichon van IJsselmonde (2 July 1781 – 3 August 1845) was mayor of Rotterdam from 1824 to 1845.
Bichon studied law in Utrecht and obtained his doctorate in 1804. He was a member of the Assembly of Notables for the department of the Mouths of the Meuse, a member of the municipal council of Rotterdam, a member of the Provincial Council of Holland, mayor of Rotterdam, a member of the House of Representatives of the States General for the province of Holland, a member of the Provincial Council of South Holland for the cities (Rotterdam), and a member of the Council of State in extraordinary service.
Bichon was made a Commander of the Order of the Netherlands Lion.
Bichon was a member of the Bichon family. Two of Bichon's sons were members of the Rotterdam Militia and left for Belgium in 1830 to suppress the Belgian Revolt.

3. Lodewijk Constantijn Rabo Copes van Cattenburch (Vught, September 3, 1771 - The Hague, December 16, 1842) was appointed by King Willem I as the first sole ruling mayor of The Hague. He held this office from February 23, 1824, until his death.
