Jean de La Fontaine (French, 1621 - 1695) - "Œuvres complètes. Fables, contes et nouvelles" and "Œuvres complètes. Œuvres diverses" (two volumes) - Collection Bibliothèque de la Pléiade, published by Editions Gallimard in 1991 and 1993.

"Œuvres complètes. Œuvres diverses" (Pléiade no. 62): 1146 pages, printed on Schoeller at Hoesch bible paper (scritta paper), all bound in leather, stamped lettering on spine gilded in 23K gold. Published 1991. Faults at spine upper and lower corner due to handling with no effects on the overall aesthetics of the book (please see detailed photos). Otherwise excellent, almost pristine condition overall, without any other faults at view. It is unread, it has no wear to the cover and spine and no wear to pages.

"Œuvres complètes. Fables, contes et nouvelles" (Pléiade new edition of Tome I of no. 10): 1544 pages, printed on Valobibles de Prioux bible paper (scritta paper), all bound in leather, stamped lettering on spine gilded in 23K gold. Published 1993. Excellent, almost mint overall condition, without any faults at view. It is unread, it has no wear to the cover and spine and no wear to pages.

Both with printed cardboard slipcases, rhodoid present and excellent shape. Slipcases shows almost no shelf wear, with superficial faults from handling (please see detailed pictures) that does not affect at all the overall aesthetics.
