En février 2020, JR revient dans la prison de sécurité maximale située à Tehachapi et s'attaque cette fois à l’un des murs de la prison. Il le fait disparaître en y collant en trompe l’oeil l’image de la montagne située derrière le mur d’enceinte, jusque-là invisible au regard des prisonniers. L'installation y est toujours présente aujourd’hui, créant une passerelle visuelle vers l’extérieur, améliorant le bien être psychique des détenus.
