A Chinese Antique group of Twin carps.
Finely carved and very decorative group of twin carps facing each other over a "eggs and coins" base.
The symbol of double carps is said to increase luck, wealth and fertility in traditionnal China.
It has ideally to be placed in the north of your home and/or business...
An unsual, finely carved and good size sculpture which is very decorative.

Type: Carved group.
Period: first half 20th C.
Height: 23.5 cm / 9.2".
Weight: Approx. 2.75 Kgs.
Materials: Carved white steatite.
Provenance: Private collection, South of France.
Condition: After very carefull checks under natural and UV lights: Some repairs on carps tails but not very noticeable and very stable when assembled. Other minor wears on sides. In overall GOOD CONDITION and STRICTLY AS PER VISUALS.
Courier: Very cautiously packed and secured inside a professional parcel (double layer carton box, item wrapped inside small and large bubbles, well positionned in the center of the parcel and properly blocked by polystyrene flocks, fragile sticker all over the parcel).
We are used to ship worldwide to European community, UK, North America (USA and Canada) + Asia and Oceania (Aus + NZL).
