Il meteorite è stato trovato nel sud-est della Mauritania, a circa 30 km a nord del confine con il Mali.
sono stati recuperati due fragili frammenti del peso rispettivamente di 1345 e 485 g. Sono per lo più ricoperti da una crosta di fusione nera e mostrano un interno di colore da marroncino chiaro ad arancione.
Petrografia : il meteorite è una breccia monomitta composta prevalentemente da cristalli di ortopirosseno di dimensioni fino a 2 mm inseriti in una matrice correlata a grana fine. Le fasi minori includono silice, cromite, FeS e Fe metallico. Non è stato rilevato alcun feldspato nelle due sezioni sottili studiate.
