Each bag is handmade by skilled artisans, continuing the tradition of meticulous craftsmanship in their workshop in Kyoto's Higashiyama district, where they've maintained a commitment to "uncompromising craftsmanship" for over 100 years. The Kyocera Museum of Art and the Ichizawa Shinzaburo Hanpu workshop are located nearby, reflecting a blend of local tradition and skill.
To create bags that are "durable, long-lasting, simple, and timeless," artisans are constantly refining their techniques. This tote bag is no exception—it's highly durable and designed to stand on its own when the bottom gusset is expanded.
Accessories Included: We will also include the Ichizawa Shinzaburo Hanpu paper bag that came with the purchase, as well as a leaflet and ticket stub from the "Mononoke Kyoto Exhibition."
Please note that, due to packaging requirements, the tote bag will be folded at the base of the handles for shipping. We kindly ask for your understanding.
