Bimber The Channel is a limited special bottling from the distillery of the same name and a collaboration with Sea Shepherd. What makes it special: The whisky was swum across the English Channel from Dover to Calais in the luggage of the New Zealand brothers Nick and Alex Ravenhall. Once on land, the whisky, which had originally been matured in a bourbon cask, was filled back into the cask. There, the Channel Limited Edition was finished in Madeira Cask 109/4. The 4-year maturation period took place from 2017 to 2021. The whisky was bottled at 57.8% ABV. It is not filtered or colored and there are just 292 bottles in total. Every sale supports the marine conservation organization Sea Shepherd. #dreambar
