清嘉慶皇帝是承繼康乾盛世及爾後鴉片戰爭而衰敗的一位皇帝，他懲治貪污，勤奮圖治，但用人不彰沒有做出利民的實政功績，在位期間發生數次宗教民變，因此清朝在嘉慶後進入衰敗。
這枚嘉慶通寶是罕見的寶廣局鑄造，廣東省位於中國偏南區域，並非在中國的政治中心，因此幣鈔數量不多，品相不佳，這枚是大樣宮錢外，品相又是極佳的XF+，重量也達5功克，是很難地的一枚漂亮古錢，請藏家切勿錯過。
