Two vintage medical sets, a Sphygmomanomete and an Otoscope:
Accoson Sphygmomanometer from the 1960's. A Sphygmomanometer is a blood pressure monitor or blood pressure gauge composed of an inflatable cuff to collapse and then release the artery under the cuff in a controlled manner, and a gauge to measure the pressure. The case measures 18.7 x 10.7cm.
This example is in excellent, possibly unused, condition and appears to function as intended.
The Otoscope is from the 1960's also, by Welch Allyn, cased with a previous owner's initials on the case 'D. S. G'.
An Otoscope or auriscope is a medical device which is used to look into the ears. Health care providers use Otoscopes to screen for illness during regular check-ups and also to investigate ear symptoms. An Otoscope potentially gives a view of the ear canal and tympanic membrane or eardrum. The case measures 18.2 x 11cm.
This example is in good and complete condition.
