This Chenrezig Statue depicts the benevolent and merciful nature of Compassionate Boddhisattva, also known as Avalokitesvara, "The one who looks with unwavering eye." Handcrafted with intricate details, it reminds us of compassion and kindness and promotes inner peace and harmony. He is the most acknowledged Bodhisattva, embodying the compassion of all Buddhas. He listens to all sentient beings' prayers in times of stress and trouble.

He is depicted sitting on lotus seat with a compassionate expression. His two front hands are, in a holy gesture, clasped in front of his jewel-draped heart. His upper right hand holds his special symbol, a crystal akshamala, or rosary, a symbol of the never-ending cycle.
