Title: Eye watches from peephole
Original engraving on silk with lithographic color from the "Illustre Casanova" suite.
These Casanova engravings on silk are only included in the first 25 examples of the book and are very rarely found. This artist proof edition might very well be the only E.A. with Silk engravings included.
It is hard to take a good picture to show how beautiful the silk shows a silver shine that changes when the engraving is looked at from a different angle.
Plate signed, on silk.
Published by: Cercle du Livre Précieux, Paris 1967.
It comes with a copy of the original hand signed justification page that came with the suite, this being an Exemplaire d'Artiste edition
