This is an antique kimono obi.( FUKURO OBI) This obi is patterned from edge to edge on both sides. (Normal obis have no pattern on the reverse side, and the front side is 60% of the total.) It is an expensive obi because it costs more to produce than normal obis. The rounded mountains give a soft impression. Made for year-round use regardless of the season. Although it has no outstanding individuality, this obi was made to be respectful in any occasion. It is made of silk. There is slight age deterioration, but no tears or major stains. But slight wrinkles that can be seen in the photos. The odor of the preservative (camphor) is still present. If the odor is bothersome, please dry it in the shade for a few days. This item will be shipped within 3 days with tracking by Japan Post.
