Nangaku Watanabe (1767 - February 4, 1813) was a painter in the late Edo period. He is from Kyoto. His name was Iwao, his character was Viseki, his name was Minamigaku, and he was commonly known as Kozaemon.[1] He is a senior disciple of Okyo Maruyama and is counted as one of the top ten philosophies of Omon. He spread the Maruyama school in Edo.
