A lovely antique Chinese snuff bottle, made from precious Beijing red and white overlay glass (possibly by the Imperial glass workshops), depicting Four Cranes (two pairs) in Dancing Poses under Clouded Moon. Beautiful shape, well hollowed. Including a hard stone stopper with spoon. On the side marked with a character mark in official Zhuanshu seal mark script.
Height: 8,0 centimeter (including high quality stopper, 6,6 centimeter without).
Provenance: Old Italian private collection.
Condition: The object is in very good condition, without any damages or restorations except for two minuscule mosquito bites on the rim. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
