DESCRIPTION
Osvaldo Amado, renowned Portuguese winemaker, with almost 40 harvests in history, millions of bottles produced, with thousands of awards awarded and many brands that need no introduction, such as Casa de Santar, Marquês de Marialva or Cabriz. He had already made all kinds of wines, except... his own! And they had to be special, unique, distinct. They had to be rare, or better yet, they had to be ‘Very Rare’. Studio wines, in limited editions, like jewels born from nature.
Thus was born the company Total Wines – Vinhos de Portugal and the brand Raríssimo By Osvaldo Amado, launched at the end of 2019. The objective was immediately defined: to produce special, distinct and complex wines... delicately designed, unique, perfect, rare, always accompanied by its creator!

WINE VARIETIES: Arinto (100%).

VINIFICATION
Total stalking, cold pre-fermentative skin maceration for 4 hours. Alcoholic fermentation at 18ºC 25% in new barrels, 25% in second-use barrels, 50% in stainless steel.

TASTING NOTES
Crystal clear yellow color, coming from white grapes and with floral touches. Light acidity and dry, elegant aftertaste.

SERVING
It goes well with fish, grilled meat, roasts or stews as long as they are lightly seasoned and well structured. Consume in moderation.

WINE VARIETIES: Encruzado, Bical & Malvasia Fina.

VINIFICATION
Blend of three vintages: 50% of 2011, 25% of 2014 and 25% of 2015. Total stemming, natural static clarification, 25% fermented in new barrels and 75% in second-use barrels. Aging for 18 months in French oak barrels. Bottled in 2016, it has been aged in the bottle for 72 months.

TASTING NOTES
Intense citrine color. Predominant aroma with notes of complexity; dried fruits, toasted cereal, bakery notes and notes of fennel. Complex, fresh, unctuous flavor with long persistence.

SERVING
It goes well with fish, grilled meat, roasts or stews as long as they are lightly seasoned and well structured. Consume in moderation.
