A very RARE and beautiful book.....Robert Louis Stevenson's "Kidnapped" 1938 edition with wonderful illustrations by Rowland Hilder!!! Twelve tipped in colour plates, monochrome endsheet designs and black and white drawings in the text by Rowland Hilder. Extending map of David Balfour's wanderings. Full pictorial buckram lettered in gilt with light wear around edges and cornes, some stains and soiling to boards, shelfwear. Top edge gilt. Inside clean and complete. Rarity. Uncommon.
