Compiled from Original Documents by James Montgomery". The Second Edition, Corrected. Beautifully Illustrated with Twenty-Six Engravings. Published by John Snow, London, in 1841. Here we have a detailed account of the journey to the other side of the world by two members of the London Missionary Society. There are 11 full-page b/w plates- one plate Is missing-and several in-text illustrations. The text is in double-column format.
Rebound in half bound brown leather on marbled hardboards. Some wear to the leather at the corners. Gilt lettering on the spine. Yellowing to endpapers. Rough cut page edges. Foxing and browning to pages. All pages are firm and the book is in overall good condition.
