Antique Bible. The Holy Bible by John Kitto with pictorial illustrations published in 1848 by Charles Knight, Volume I Genesis to Joshua, Volume II Judges to Job, the first 18 books of the Old Testament.
Each volume measures 26 x 19cm (10.25" x 7.5").
Hardback, half leather with marbled boards, many illustrations and a pull out map in Volume II, generally clean text and tightly bound but first four pages of Volume I loose, but attached, some foxing. Steel engravings after 'celebrated pictures' and many woodcuts.
Volume I - 626 pages, volume II - 686 pages.

This seller is 100% awesome. He is honest and decent. The item was delayed due to customs and was eventually returned to the seller who then at his expense sent it to an alternative address in UK.
