2000 Marqués de Murrieta, Castillo Ygay - Rioja Gran Reserva Especial - 1 Sticlă (0.75L)

This wonderful wine from my father's collection is for sale here.
It was selected with love, carefully stored and guarded like a treasure so that it still looks "fresh" even after years.
It seems as if dad did a good choise.

The filling level is optimal with neck fill, the condition of the label and closure is also excellent.
The 0.75l bottle size offers enjoyment for more than one glass, alone, as a couple or with dear guests.

Falstaff: "The red wine Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial, vintage 2000 from the Marqués de Murrieta winery was rated 93 Falstaff points by Peter Moser in 2019. It is a wine made from the Tempranillo and Carignan grape varieties from the Rioja region in Spain."

Marqués de Murrieta Estates and Wines is led since 1983 by the Cebrián-Sagarriga family. They describe the winery on their website:

The origin of the Marqués de Murrieta winery is also the origin of Rioja. Don Luciano Murrieta made the first Rioja wine in 1852 using techniques learned in Bordeaux, with the intention of preserving it over time.
