As Toyofumi Mizutani's most famous series go books, the names of animals, plants, and minerals from Japan are classified in order of Iroha, and then classified into "water", "fire", "earth", "gold", "stone", "grass", "wood", "insects", "fish", "seals", "birds" and "beasts", and write Japanese names in katakana, Chinese names under them, and sources, etc. It's attached. According to the legend of the dry roll, Kiyoshi Okabayashi, a doctor of the Owari Domain, initially gave up halfway due to eye disease, and succeeded by his friend Toyofumi Mizutani (1779-1833), a scholar of the Owari Domain, completed it.

*Toyofumi Mizutani (also known as Hobun) was a botanist in the late Edo period. He was the head of the Shohyakusha Society and the official supplier to the Owari Domain's Botanical Garden. He was also known by the nickname Mizutani Sukeroku, which was also used by his sons and grandsons.
