Marvelous Meissen antique set of 5 desert plates, X- Form” design, in excellent to pristine condition.
Extremely rare in this fabulous condition!

The “X-Form” shape was created between 1844 and 1855 by Ernst August Leuteritz, 
X-Form being a reference to the original mould shape.  Inspired by the Biedermeier period in Europe; simple in form and grand in execution!
The gilding is all done by hand with 23 karat gold on the high relief of the ornaments and edges.  The third firing is what gives the gold a silky shimmer.  Meissen refers to this finish as Gold Bronze.

All the plates are in excellent to pristine condition, marked with Meissen blue crossed sword mark of the period and numbered, one plate is First Choice and the other four with two grinding lines, NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.

Good afternoon. I really don’t understand your disappointment and feedback! In the description was mentioned very clear the dimensions of the cup and saucer.

De soup cup is in perfecte conditie aan gekomen en was uitstekend verpakt. Kom beslist nog eens bij U terug. Mvg, Kees Koerts
