The GlenDronach mainly uses carefully selected sherry barrels that are handmade at renowned sherry bodegas from southern Spain (Jerez de la Frontera and Sanlúcar de Barrameda)
Distilled on 30 november 1989
and finally bottled in October 2013.
This Single Cask Whisky is the perfect example of craftsmanship of this renowned distillery from the Highlands.
After a very careful selection, cask 5470 was chosen and eventually bottled to barrel strength without coloring and filtering. This resulted in only 525 bottles.
This Single Cask Whisky has spent over two decades on a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon. This barrel has ensured that this GlenDronach has been given an unparalleled depth and enormous complexity.
