The supporting elements of the stool are made of beech veneer. The slats look like muscle fibres and form a stable construction with feminine curves.

The large number of lamellas and their interlocking create a very stable corner joint similar to a classic finger joint. As two layers always come together in one place and only one in another, the curves on the furniture are created as if by themselves. Form follows construction.

When viewed from the side, the furniture is extremely slim and does not require a crossbar or crosspieces thanks to the stable corner connection. This results in a light appearance and a really low weight. The top view shows how the parts of equal length shorten towards the outside due to the bends. This creates the curve at the sides. As a result, the furniture has almost no right angles.

The stool can be lifted by the centre section between the legs as if by handles. The furniture is suitable for many applications, for example as an eye-catcher in the entrance area.

With the filigree components and the bundled shapes, the furniture looks like grown muscle fibres. The overall shape shows naturally formed curves.

Optical interference can be seen when looking through the wave-shaped slats.

The beech wood is treated with oil.

The stool in the auction is a unique piece and only exists once.
