Jun Ware Farfurie stropită cu glazură în albastru - Faianță - China - Stilul Jin, probabil secolul XIX-XX
A Rare and Exquisite Jun Ware Blue-glazed Purple-splashed Dish. Height 8.3 cm / Diameter 10.4 cm Includes a collector's box
Jun ware (Chinese: 鈞窯) is a type of Chinese pottery, one of the Five Great Kilns of Song dynasty ceramics. Several different types of pottery are covered by the term, produced over several centuries and in several places, during the Northern Song dynasty (960–1127), Jin dynasty (1115–1234) and Yuan dynasty (1271–1368), and (as has become clearer in recent years) lasting into the early Ming dynasty (1368–1644).
The most striking and distinctive Jun wares use blue to purple glaze colours, sometimes suffused with white, made with straw ash in the glaze. They often show "splashes" of purple on blue, sometimes appearing as though random, though they are usually planned.
See a similar example in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York: https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/48384
Provenance: Acquired from a private collection in 1982, Paris
Condition: Overall in very good conditon. The overall glaze is glossy, with traces of erosion on the surface. No restoration.
Shipping worldwide by EMS, usually 7-14 days to deliver.
