La Rioja produced by Bodegas Faustino, owned by Grupo Faustino. In this blend the Tempranillo variety predominates (90%), to which some Mazuelo (10%) is added. After having harvested, the grains ferment alcoholically for about 10 days at a temperature never higher than 29º. Faustino V Reserva subsequently begins a maceration process with its own skins for about 20 days. Faustino V Reserva is finally aged for about 16 months in American white oak barrels from Missouri. Denomination of Origin Rioja and with 88% Tempranillo and 12% Graciano. It has an exquisite preparation with its 23 months in barrel and 3 months in the bottle. In the mouth, with a good mouthfeel, smooth, and with slightly pronounced flavors."
