Hannah Bielecki - Monas Lisa

This work is an abstract interpretation of the famous painting "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo DaVinci. It is abstracted but still relays on the composition and choice of color, only added with a modern twist. The whole work is painted in oil colors and varnished. It will be shipped stretched on a stretcher frame.

„Hannah Bielecki paints, draws, cuts, irritates… she presents color fields just to cover them up in transparency within the next second. She creates narration and objects in abstraction to tell a story that can only grow in the beholders eye and perception. The color palette she uses is somewhere between a dark reverie and neon bright drama, which she enlightens with points of light. She uses a lot of color but is never arbitrary. The paintings are appear dynamic, but nothing happens by accident.
the viewer is challenged to fathom the painting. The eye doesn’t get a chance to rest.
