- "Pompeii Descriptive and Picturesque" by W. Butler. The book is published by William Blackwood & Sons, Edinburgh & London 1st 1886. Very interesting,covering subjects as:
Streets & Shops
Wall Decorations
Drainage
Forum

Baths
Later Art
House of the Tragic Poet etc.
Book in very good condition. Inside complete and clean. Externally only light stains on boards. Rarity.

- "Pompei past and present : its principal monuments as they are and as they used to be, reproduced and restored from photographs and original sketches". Very beautiful and interesting book in very good condition for age. Externally light wear around edges and corners, shelfwear-see photos- Inside clean and complete with all the comparative illustrations!!! Uncommon.

Tear and significant missing on the inner pages plus unsightly spots p.78. Seem to me not reported and does not justify the "very good condition".
