These pendants were especially widespread in the X-XIII centuries, they were most widespread in the XII century before the displacement of paganism by Christianity.
The pendant of a sown field as a symbol of fertile land is associated with the idea of grain, seed as the process of the birth of a new life. It closely resonates with wedding ceremonies and the life of a young woman who got married.
Unlike most other pendants made by casting, the production of lattice specimens required a large amount of wire, the manufacture of which the village jewelers were well acquainted with. The round rim of the pendant was made of 3 wires soldered along the entire length, to which the lattice was then soldered.
