I am offering for auction an impressive and huge 20th century oil on canvas of a lady in a woodland setting, in the manner of Thomas Gainsborough, 1727-1788. This fine painting was commissioned for a country house and has been hanging on a very large wall until very recently.
The painting measures 120 x 74 cm. The frame is 139 x 93 cm.
Condition of the paintings is excellent. Please view all photos for accurate condition. Ready to hang.
This painting is very large. Please be aware of postal costs.
Please note. Due to the fragile nature of old frames and glass, our shippers do not provide insurance for any damage caused during transit. We go to great lengths to ensure each painting is packed and protected to a very high standard but sadly cannot compensate or refund for any damage occurring to frames or glass during transit. Therefore the frame and any glass is a gift to you with zero value and you are bidding on the artwork only.
