Born in Kyoto. Real name is Hashimoto Shinnosuke.
Studied under Takeuchi Seiho.
He was a student of the first class of the Chikujo-kai, a painting school.
After graduating from Kyoto Art School, he was said to be the best young artist in Kyoto.
