This souvenir continues a family of a souvenirs of the Soviet period issued in honor of the first satellite, flight of the man in space and the further conquest of space.
This auction is for a spectator souvenir from the Soviet space program and the launch of the rocket Vostok-1 in 1961.
Plastic base with the inscription 1961-IV-12. Above that is the layout of the globe of gold finished metal with fly around his rocket.
Manufactured: 1960s

Approximately 6x7 cm
Below on the stand there is a dedicatory inscription: To Alyosha from Marusya March 31, 1968 (Most likely this is a children's gift, perhaps a school one)

Dear buyer:) All the shortcomings and advantages of the object are clearly visible in the photographs. This is just an aluminum figurine from sixty years ago, but quite rare and dedicated to a very significant event. What does it mean to be expensive for something like that? I didn’t force you to bid at the auction, did I?:)
