This artefact is representing a typical Dogon shepherd couple, him with a spear, riding a mystical animal of the Dogon culture.
The bronze figure is by the Dogon blacksmiths an ethnic group of Mali. The patina has a brown green aspect, with many nuances, made according to the lost wax process of remarkable quality.
