Here's an extremely rare 17th century bronze Scrolling Lotus Vase. The body is a rounded section, cast in relief with a foliate scroll bearing two lotus blossoms, surmounted by a straight neck adorned with vines with a flared mouth and vine handles supported on a splayed foot. The vase has a beautiful bronze green patina, fitting for its age.
The vase shows significant signs of age and wear and possible signs of ancient repair around the base? Please see photos for further information.
The dimensions are: H: 10.5 CM, W: 4 CM, D: 4 CM and the weight is 180g.
