Absolut Colors Case version 1

Rainbow color hard plastic cover. Limited edition skin for the 30th anniversary of gay pride flag.

A rainbow flagged limited edition second skin, containing a regular blue bottle.

In 2008, Gilbert Baker, the creator of the rainbow pride flag collaborated with Absolut to create the limited edition Colors bottle. The collaboration was an extension of Absolut already close relationship with the LGBT community, which began as the brand was one of the only large companies in the 80s that would advertise in the pages of LGBT-targeted magazines.

Over the years, Absolut has been always been entwined with the LGBT community, supporting the rights movement through its iconic advertisements, through limited editions including Colors and No Labels, and even sponsoring a TV show featuring the drag star Rupaul.

When Absolut first began working with the LGBT community, it was far less accepted than it is now. The right movement and general acceptance has come along way in the past 30 years, however, it still has a long way to go. As a continuation of its support for the LGBT community, Absolut has rereleased the Absolut Colors limited edition.

Absolut Disco

The Disco skin is the 2007 end-of-the-year edition.

Shiny silver skin that contains a regular blue label bottle.

Taking its inspiration from the mirror ball, the classic dance symbol, the Absolut Disco gift pack is all about ‘dancing, having fun and giving your own interpretation of disco.’

The pack is made up of exactly 1,000 reflecting prisms, formed in the shape of a classic Absolut vodka bottle, and is opened by sliding it apart to reveal a bottle of Absolut vodka.

The empty gift pack can then be used as a mirror ball by hanging it from its integrated loop.
