2004 Gaja - Barbaresco DOCG - 1 Magnum (1,5 L)

Blending of grapes from the 14 vineyards, from origin to a complete and balanced wine, an authentic Barbaresco, particularly fruity, with an excellent tannic and elegant structure.

Dark garnet red, olfactory impact of rare refinement and complexity with superb definition of fruit and spices.

The initial impact is proposed with notes of liquorice and blackberry, then, little by little, here are the small red fruits where the blueberry stand out and then the cherry, the jam, to last on refined and ethereal floral tones.

To the taste it is frank, with a powerful structure, but polite.

The development is excellent, the tannins are important but polite, almost sweet.

A strong and effective Barbaresque as you rarely encounter.
