Decorative Art Deco set fruit bowls on 4 feet, made of pressed glass in a rosaline color, at the Sächsische Glasfabrik by August Walther & Söhne.
All in all a beautiful set with a decor of interplaying Art Deco patterns in relief, Model 'Brüssel'. The relief decoration works like lenses, creating an ever-changing play of light and lines.
Looking stunning on a festively laid table.
Bowl 1
Condition: Good - no chips, no flea bites, no cracks. On the top side, there are two superficial scratches of about 5 cm. It does not detract from its decorative value.
Bowl 2
Height: 6,5 cm
Diameter: 26 cm
Weight: 683 g
Condition: Excellent
August Walther founded his glassworks in 1888 at Ottendorf-Okrilla near Dresden and called it August Walther & Sohne AG. They produced a wide range of tableware and ornamental glass, and they are best known for their Art Deco figurines and designs from the 1930s.
We refer to the photos for the condition but have not found any cracks, restorations, or chips, only minor wear commensurate with age.
Air bubbles and glass threads are normal due to the production process.
Will be packaged very carefully and shipped securely.
