For sale is a very nice Prussian Iron Cross 2nd Class (Eisernes Kreuz Klass 2). Very high quality core with clear definition of the crown and other detail. Usual three piece construction with a magnetic core. It is maker marked with 800 KAG on the ring for Königliches Arbeit Gemeinschaft - Berlin. The 800 denoting the fact that the frame is high content silver. Good condition with a well cast core and frame. The ribbon appears black but on close inspection it can be seen that the white stripes have deteriorated over the years. This is a well documented phenomena. This is an excellent example with patina commensurate with its age. Please look closely at the photographs which show the condition and what is included. This is a genuine item from the Imperial era.
