Born in Theran in 1963, he gained fame as an industrial designer at Philips, living and working in Amsterdam where he and his wife Annekofou founded the Feiz Design Studio. Years later, he designed the L'Or Barista for Philips. This design was again restyled by Michèle de Lucchi in 2024.
