Pre-owned Rolex Datejust 116201, in excellent conditions, with a sundust dial with diamonds, full set.
This 116201 is made of gold and steel, including bracelet and bezel.
One of the biggest changes Rolex has made to their production base in recent years is their switch from 316L stainless steel to 904L. The ref. 1162XX series were the first Datejusts cast in the new metal.
The reference 116201 is a 36mm watch. For many, 36mm is a relatively small watch (at least by modern standards), but the Datejust has always had an uncanny knack for shrugging off perceptions that apply to virtually all its competitors.

Rolex DateJust (inspired by Rolex Bubbleback) was first introduced in 1945 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Rolex. The Datejust is one of the earliest Rolex models that survives till today.
