A great Champagne with a subtle perlage, coming from an exceptional harvest and offering freshness, roundness and elegance; a complex and powerful vintage of rare quality. The minerality of the Cramant vineyard, classified as Grand Cru, is fully expressed in this cuvée. Its power and persistence on the palate will allow it to be paired with foie gras or scallops.
Champagne Colin is a family-run business that has been producing excellent champagnes for over seven generations. Originally, the Champagne Colin vineyard spoke to women, but today it is headed by Richard and Romain Colin. The passion for the vine and wine was born with Geneviève Prieur and Marie Louise Radet, their grandmothers, who had both inherited vines from their parents. But we must go back to 1829 to find the first winemaker of the family: Constant Piéton (great-grandfather of Geneviève Prieur, maternal grandmother of Richard and Romain). The company is located in the Côte des Blancs, in the village of Vertus and produces Champagne Blanc de Blancs Premier and Grand Cru.
"Based on Grand Cru vineyards in the village of Cramant, this is a ripe, taut, steely Champagne. Even at eight years of age, it is still impressively young—its fruit and texture still shining.
