Big Peat Christmas Edition 2015 - Douglas Laing - 700ml

Having been in specialist and craft Scotch Whisky production for generations, Douglas Laing originally exported blends, but now carries the family name down the line by focusing on bottling exceptional single malts and grains as part of their Old Particular, Provenance and XOP ranges. They also enjoy huge success with their "Remarkable Regional Malts" range. A series of creatively named vatted malts, designed to epitomise the characteristics of Scotland's whisky regions.

This is the annual, festive release of Big, a small batch vatted Islay malt whisky from Douglas Laing: a shovelful of Islay single malt Scotch whiskies including those distilled at Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore, and Port Ellen, with each bringing different qualities to the blend. A new edition of Big Peat is released to commemorate different events and themes always with the familiar bearded character illustrated on the labels in different guises.
