About the vintage
This Côte-Rôtie magnifies the syrah through an intense garnet colour, a complex nose of red fruits, spicy notes and flowers such as violet. As for his mouth, it is a small nectar of harmony, purity, freshness and complexity. Creamy, gourmet, with melted tannins, this vintage does wonders with duck needles and a fresh mushroom fricassee. The Gangloff family developed it by carrying out manual harvesting, careful sorting of logs, scraping, maceration in stainless steel tanks with temperature control. The Black Serene was then raised in barrels for 2 to 3 years. This wine is kept between 10 and 15 years.
