A single manuscript leaf from a 17th Century book of Muslim prayers. The page is in great condition for their age and is from a remainder volume of a copy of the Al-Kamilat al-Sajjadiyah prayers composed by Zayn al-Abadin (died 710AD) only 70 years after the death of the holy Prophet Muhammad. The script is elegant Arabic naskh, with interlinear commentary in red. There is also commentary in freehand in the right hand border with gold arabesque decoration enveloping the scripture which is framed in thin gold and back lines. The manuscript was dated AH Muharran 1101/AD1689.
