A vintage Alessi squirrel nutcracker dating from the 1990s.
It was designed by Stefano Giovannoni and is known as " Nutty The Cracker ".
The nutcracker features a cast aluminum nut dish with a charming squirrel figurine created from orange polyamide.
Nut shells are cracked open by placing the nut between the squirrel's legs and gently turning its ears.
The underside is stamped with the Alessi maker's mark and logo.
