- A 1972 original First UK Press (52 years young) of Pink Floyd ‘Obscured by Clouds’, released on Harvest SHSP 4020 with first press matrix runouts SHSP 4020 A-1/SHSP 4020 B-1, including solid cardboard cover with rounded sleeve-corners, mat-finished textured sleeve, A-1/B-1 in the matrix (first issue), typical yellow/green Harvest labels with ‘Made in Gt Britain’ and original inner company sleeve ! The pictures are an essential part of the LP-description, so watch them carefully. Cover: VG+ (small sticker on the back) ! - Vinyl: Ex !
The albums ‘Obscured by Clouds’ served as a soundtrack for the French film ‘La Vallée’, completely produced by Pink Floyd. As the songs centre around ‘Love’ – the theme of the film – there is heavy use of the acoustic guitar. Allthough it is not Pink Floyd’s most popular album, bandmember Nick Mason called it his favourite. The Daily Telegraph wrote: ‘Its elegant instrumentals point the way to their next album ‘Dark Side of the Moon’.

This is a rare find to buy a 1st UK press vinyl album of the progressive rock band Pink Floyd in this amazing condition!
